I firmly believe that a therapist should embody consistency, compassion, and non-judgment. My work is rooted in building a collaborative and supportive relationship with my clients, grounded in respect and a shared commitment to growth.
With a deep passion for mental health and a strong leadership background in addiction and behavioral health care, I have gained extensive experience across a wide range of treatment settings. My professional journey has included work in detox programs, residential treatment, court-involved settings, hospital-based care, and outpatient services. These experiences have shaped my understanding that every individual’s path to healing is unique.
My expertise includes anxiety disorders, mood disorders, addictions and life transitions, and I offer practical, evidence-based interventions to help clients navigate intrusive thoughts, emotional distress, and the challenges that come with change. I understand how deeply these concerns can impact day-to-day life, and my goal is to provide steady support as we identify and challenge the patterns that keep you feeling overwhelmed or stuck.
I also work with court-involved individuals and those needing substance use evaluations. Through my experience collaborating with legal systems and treatment courts, I have developed a clear understanding of the expectations, requirements, and documentation needed in these cases.
My therapeutic foundation draws from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. I use these models flexibly, tailoring my approach to each client’s needs while maintaining a warm, human, and deeply professional presence.
I value ongoing growth as a clinician and enjoy staying engaged with current research and evolving practices in the field. I thoughtfully bring this learning into my work with clients to provide care that is grounded, responsive, and effective.
